One of these initiatives was recently launched in the West African country of Guinea-Bissau. With the help of development ambassador Tivoli, Effe has announced plans to fund and install a state-of-the-art waste to energy system in Guinea-Bissau. Consisting of as many as 15 individual facilities, this system will not only use household garbage to generate electricity but concurrently enable the purification of water and assist in the production of biodiesel fuel.
